Senior Liability Loss Adjuster

A market leading Loss Adjuster currently seeks an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster with at least 5 years Loss Adjusting experience to join their team. The primary purpose of this role will be the handling, investigation and negotiation of a portfolio of liability claims and other claims related activities.

The key tasks in this role will be:
  • To achieve personal objectives by handling, investigating and negotiating of claims in accordance with agreed standards and service level agreements.
  • To supervise and develop junior professional staff through involvement in more complex cases.
  • To develop and maximise opportunities in order to promote the business.
  • To provide reports and analysis as required.
  • To act as a point of referral when required.
  • To complete other duties as delegated from time to time.


Key Skills & Competencies
  • 5 - 10 years liability loss adjusting experience
  • 3rd level qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the personal injury claims process
  • Previous investigative experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Display good administrative, organisational skills and problem solving ability.
  • Possess the ability to analyse and interpret statistical information and reports along with the ability to use appropriate software packages in order to complete work.


A highly-self motivated liability loss adjuster with excellent influential skills to influence both internally and externally is required along with an excellent understanding of the business strategy and ability to develop and promote the business with customers ( insurer, intermediary and end customer/policyholder).
