THE ROLE:
*Development of Test System Solutions (ICT & Functional) in accordance with Project Milestones.
*Shop Floor Management System (SFMS) - Lead the definition, roll-out & integration of the SFMS in both sustaining Operations as well as within the NPI Group.
*Provide Technical support for all test systems in production including;
Hewlett-Packard HP3070/I5000 series in-circuit tester, National Instruments based Customised Function Test & Run-In Systems, Camera Module Assembly & Test (CMAT) Systems, numerous dedicated Functional test systems (PC, I/O card and GPIB instrument based).
REQUIREMENTS:
*Degree in electronics or equivalent essential.
*Minimum 4 years experience in electronic manufacturing.
*Operation / support of In-circuit testers, preferably the HP3070.
*PCB debug and repair to component level.
*A working knowledge of both in-circuit and functional test.
*A general knowledge of PCs (DOS, Windows, hardware installation).
*Mindset of Continuous Improvement
*The following would be beneficial but not essential:
*Mechanical / tool room experience.
*Pneumatics, GPIB, RS232C interfaces and use, PC I/O card installation
*Q BASIC and C++ programming
