Banking Officer
Job Title: Banking Officer – Loan Administration - Executive Level
Reporting to: Senior Manager
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a progressive, dynamic financial institution on a permanent basis . This role requires an experienced senior loan administrator to ensure that the administration of the team’s portfolio is carried out to the highest standard, including preparing facility and instruction letters, completing legal and drawdown documentation, managing client files and inputting information onto the various Banking systems .
Essential Skills and Experience
- Full QFA – Our client may consider exceptional candidates who are nearing completion of their QFA’s.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and complete associated documentation
- Excellent financial analysis and credit analysis skills.
- Ability to manages multiple priorities (including work of others)
- Ability to prioritise work under time constraints and deliver to required deadlines
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy required
- Ability to work on their own initiative as well as taking instruction from others
- Ability to achieve results and a proven commitment to attaining desired goals
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills necessary.
- Ability to work on you own initiative.

- Assist in the day to day administration of a portfolio of loans with emphasis on ensuring compliance with the various codes of practice.
- Assist in the preparation of credit papers and work closely with the Manager prior to presenting to credit committee.
- Assist in the preparation of regular team reports and report to senior management.
- Ensure all account maintenance, documentation and file management is maintained to the highest possible standards.
- Ensure issues are identified, escalated as appropriate and addressed promptly
Education
- Relevant Business Degree with a minimum of a 2.1
- QFA qualification
