The Client
My client is a leading provider of retail and message based software solutions and services with offices around the globe. The company offers state of the art retail point of sale software in order to increase a company's efficiency. The other part of the business offers messaged based software in that allows device to device communication enabling secure transactions to take place. The company's core offering is high volume, secure transactions within a diverse computing environment.
The Candidate
The client is looking for a marketing 'all rounder' that can perform every element of the marketing mix at strategic level. This is a business to business company so candidates coming from a B2B background would be favourable combined with a good understanding of the business segment in general.
Role and Responsibilities
· This represents a key hire for the company so only candidates that have held a high level position within an organisation will be considered.
· The candidate will be required to take full control of the marketing department from strategy development to implementation.
· A candidate that has international experience would be favourable for this role.
· The remit of responsibility includes but is not limited to organisation of web development, participation in events, understanding how to market a new product and management of a small team.
· Liaising with 3rd party agencies in the production and planning of marketing collateral and other external agencies.
· The ability to work internationally and have an understanding of the online space would be a distinct advantage.
