Monitoring Centre CCTV Operator - Security Industry (2 Year Fixed Term Contract)
Dublin, Co Dublin
€32,000 DOE Plus 17.5% Shift Allowance, VHI, Defined Benefits Pension Scheme, Subsidised Canteen, 22 Days’ + Public Holidays

Do you have CCTV and security monitoring experience gained within a control room or monitoring centre environment? Are you PSA or FETAC qualified with a security background? If so, our client, a financial institution, is on the lookout for a Monitoring Centre CCTV Operator to join their CCTV monitoring unit on a two year fixed term contract.

In this key role, you will be responsible for monitoring the camera system in both live and recorded mode. Using your excellent observation skills, you will review discrepancies, identify patterns that may be present, as well as study and assess recordings of incidents or concerns raised.

As a Monitoring Centre CCTV Operator, your duties will include:

- Preparing written reports on incidents that occur
- Keeping daily records of all discrepancies, queries or incidents reviewed on footage
- Reporting any unusual occurrences or concerns to the Supervisor
- Attending weekly communications meetings with the Supervisor to discuss activities

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Experience monitoring CCTV and security in a control room or monitoring centre environment
- A background in the security industry
- A PSA or FETAC Level 5 licence

As a Monitoring Centre CCTV Operator, you’ll have excellent reporting writing skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft packages, such as Word, Excel and Outlook. First class interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are equally important.
