Job Title : Event Manager (supporting the UK and French Market)
Department : Customer Service

Job Summary : Responsible for utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products, services, programs and systems to provide effective customer service and satisfaction for external/internal clients, specifically as pertains to conference call reservations for clients requiring coordination and management of high-level events. This includes supporting the management of an attended portfolio of clients, reporting booking trends and managing effective relationships with clients. The role also includes ensuring the effective running of Attended calls in English and French.

Provide accurate, professional, and effective internal and external customer service and communications by scheduling, coordinating, planning and managing conference calls/events for clients; coordinating enhanced services, researching and troubleshooting problems on conference calls/events; answering and addressing clients’ questions and concerns; communicating and collaborating with internal departments regarding client accounts, conferences, ancillary billing, questions and concerns. Running attended conferences in both English and German. Answering op recalls and providing ReadyConference assistance. Proactively contacting clients regarding ongoing issues.

Ensure that daily systems operations in the department are running smoothly and efficiently by providing assistance to team members as necessary and requested; working as a team to meet goals and objectives of the department and company. Assisting with software and hardware testing; reporting concerns with bridge functioning to the appropriate personnel; compiling statistical data for report creation and future use and other various duties such as CD Duplication, and Wallet Card Production; Performing other duties that may be required to enhance customer support or aid the company in achieving its objectives

Qualifications :

· Leaving Certificate or equivalent
    Minimum 6 months in Customer Service position
    Fluency in English and French is essential
· Computer proficiency with Windows 2000, MS Word, Tesla, MS Excel, Microsoft Outlook, OTI Database, Contex, Marconi, Internet
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
    Accurate typing of approx. 30 wpm
    Problem resolution skills
    Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
    Performance meets requirements for competency in position and has received and sustained a performance rating of Good or higher. (Attendance, Dependability, Initiative, Quality, Customer Service, Professionalism and Teamwork all considered) – Ineligible if employee has been assigned an improvement period for Written Warning or higher.
    Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
    Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
    Ability and flexibility to work overtime and alternate shifts as job needs require.
    Complete and pass Customer Service Training
    Complete and pass all levels of Operator Training (A/L, connections, 2nd, Comm Line, Lead Announce)
    Complete and pass Training courses for SoundByte, CD Burning and Audio files, Transcriptions, VisionCast)
    Complete and pass EM Training
    Event Manager must fulfill mentoring objectives
