My client is seeking to hire a Level 2 support engineer for a 6 month period in Dublin 1.
**Excellent Daily Rate**
Knowledge/Experience:
- 3-7 years experience in the IT industry
- Unix Shell Scripting
- Oracle PL SQL
- Exposure to ETL technologies (informatica, Ab-Inito)
- Prior experience in financials highly advantageous
- Experience of working in a support capacity
- Experience in supporting a multi layered web application
- Willingness to learn and understand the system architecture
- Experience with browser based diagnostic tools (Firebug/Chrome developer tools/Fiddler) an advantage
- Determination and tenacity to isolate issues
- Willingness to take all necessary steps to attempt to replicate issues
- Experience of working with development teams for issue resolution
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Experience with SQL an advantage
- Excellent communication skills required as you will be liaising with users and L1 support
