Based in Cork and reporting to the European IT Director the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing / implementing compliance policies, procedures and best practices in numerous sites throughout the region. They will work closely with the IT departments in each site and be responsible for co-ordinating all IT SOX activities and risk assessments. They will also work closely with the corporate SOX team. Some travel will be required.

Job Responsibility

• 60% - Activities related to Sarbanes Oxley compliance, IT Risk Assessments & Internal Audits.
o Assist in the IT Compliance initiatives for ENRA Data Centres
o Perform self-audits on a rotational basis throughout the year to ensure sites are compliant
o Assist sites in preparing for audits or doing remedial activities afterwards
o Work with Finance in documenting application controls
• 30% - Developing compliance policies, procedures and best practices that can be leveraged
• 10% - Maintain SOX Compliance Web site and specify enhancements as requirements evolve

Requirements

General IT background with good overall understanding of IT processes and infrastructure, ideally in a US Multinational.
Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Experience in auditing or compliance
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of team as required
Ability to define best practices, develop and implement good processes.
Good interpersonal skills and documentation skills.
Ability to be persuasive and/or assertive if required.

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant degree or equivalent. Proven SOX experience with a number of years technical IT or audit background. Further training will be provided as required.
